Bob Elliott founded Contour Signs in 2004.  A former Director of Signs & Labels Ltd, Bob has 26 years experience working within the sign industry.  His vast experience means that he is skilled in all processes required on his shop-floor and in the boardroom. 

His experience has consequently led to the manufacture and subsequent supply of clear and effective signage for the visually impaired; this is perhaps the strongest feature of the Contour Signs range.  Our Sign System incorporates Braille, as well as raised letters (tactile) and pictograms which are presented to meet the "reasonable adjustment" criteria required by the DDA (1995). 

Contour Signs Systems combine:

• durable, highest quality photopolymer material;
• good colour contrast;
• good use of space;
• supplementary tactile lettering and
• the correct use of Braille (predominantly Grade 1 Braille).

The Contour Signs range is manufactured on site ensuring that all products meet our exacting standards and your exact requirements.  We can advise and provide clients with suitable bespoke signage, including alternative panel layouts and colours.  All standard signs are provided ex-stock and are available in our corporate aubergine colour.

All signs are supplied with a strong acrylic based adhesive for effective fitting.  Alternatively our superior frame system can be purchased additionally, dependent on customer requirements.

All signs fully comply with Technical Bulletin 24 of the Joint Mobility Unit (JMU).  The JMU is a service which is provided by the RNIB and the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. Contour Signs Ltd is an approved supplier of the RNIB.
